Our home area, Volcano, offers you lush tropical forest: tree ferns (hapu’u) and ohia, orchids and anthuriums, .. very green :-) ..  Volcano is home to many wild birds, including apapane, iiwi, red cardinal, yellow finches, Hawaiian Pheasants, and most of all our famous endangered NENE. 

Volcano is located right next to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.  There are tons of areas to explore, so we recommend at least a 3 day stay.

Amenities of our rentals include peaceful, private surroundings, and some even have an additional outdoor shower open to the garden.   Beds are always comfortable some with King, some with Queen Beds, and additional twins. All rentals offer home entertainment system and fully equipped kitchens.  Most have wood-burning fireplaces to take care of the chill out of the evening air.  Volcano is at 4000 feet elevation.  We also don't have mosquitoes at our altitude.
